Riding for Daisy
Story
Dear Family & Friends,
In June 2014, we welcomed into the world our beautiful little daughter Daisy. We feel blessed that we got to spend the day with her until she peacefully passed away in our arms. We will always remember with happiness that precious time we were able to spend with Daisy, we only wish she was here for longer.
Naturally, the past few months have been difficult, and we have been lucky enough to have the support of family and friends who have shown us such kindness and understanding.
On 27 March 2015 I will participate in a ride to support not only SIDS and Kids and the Stillbirth Foundation, but those families who have been heavily impacted by the tragic circumstances of losing a loved son or daughter, just like our little Daisy. Together we will ride the 300km on the Hume Highway from Sydney to Canberra and aim to raise money and awareness for the Stillbirth Foundation, SIDS and all other babies taken too soon.
To honour the memory of Daisy I have decided to create my own fundraising appeal for the race. All money donated will go to SIDS and Kids and the Stillbirth Foundation, charities that support research into the death of little ones taken too soon, and also provide bereavement support to families like ours.

Red Nose is a national charity working to save little lives through research and education, and supporting heartbrokwn families whose baby or young child has died.
Every year, over 3,000 families are devastated by the sudden and unexpected death of their baby or child. What’s more, 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage. This has to stop.
Through world-class research, education and support we passionately believe we can put an end to this.
