SIDS and Kids Charity ride for Nicholas
Story
Hi there,
Last year I rode in this charity event to help raise money for families touched by SIDS and Stillbirth. From a riding point of view, this is a great riding experience, brilliantly organised and a real joy to experience. However over the 2 days you hear people talking about their experience and how the loss of a little one has affected their lives and how they have picked up the pieces and continued on. Our family has been fortunate not to have had to experience this pain, but a close family to us has. Nicholas Lubrano would have just turned 8, and so 8 years ago the Lubrano family were going through the worst time of their lives. The SIDS and Stillbirth foundations give great support to grieving families as well as conducting important research in helping to prevent future tragedies.

Red Nose is a national charity working to save little lives through research and education, and supporting heartbrokwn families whose baby or young child has died.
Every year, over 3,000 families are devastated by the sudden and unexpected death of their baby or child. What’s more, 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage. This has to stop.
Through world-class research, education and support we passionately believe we can put an end to this.
